This workshop introduces participants to Alaska’s wild plants that have traditionally been used for medicine. Learn to identify, harvest, and preserve a dozen plants that grow in southcentral Alaska. They discuss both traditional Alaska Native as well as modern methods for making extracts, infusions, poultices, salves and tinctures. Take home knowledge, recipes and samples of salve and tincture. Registration is required and is $60. Parking fee is $5. (
