Flotilla 33, U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is teaming up with the University of Alaska Anchorage to present Paddlesports America, a safety seminar for novice canoers, kayakers and other paddlesports enthusiasts. The course begins with a three hour classroom session by the Auxiliary, 6-9 p.m. May 9 at the Eagle River UAA campus, 10928 Eagle River Road. University instructors will conduct an on-the-water portion at the Wells Fargo pool, 9-11 a.m. the next morning.
